ABC Water Filters
The AgSolv BD18 consists of two 18" Big Blue Housings which are plumbed in series with a wall mounting bracket and hardware. The BD18 system consists of a series of large capacity 1" NPT #18 Big Blue housings allowing for greater cartridge capacities and higher flow rates. Each system is also equipped with a pressure relief button to relieve housing pressure during cartridge changes, and are shipped completely pre-assembled, saving valuable installation time. All filter housings are manufactured of a durable polypropylene, have excellent chemical resistance and are ideal for many residential, commercial and industrial applications. It might help to know that the EPA recommends activated carbon filtration technology as the only water treatment technology that eliminates almost all common and identified herbicides, pesticides, and inorganic contaminants in water.

Weed Terminator 20
WT 20 is a weed terminator, which is 20% acetic acid. This is the active ingredient. It is used with an equal amount of Contact Organic Boost. Boost consists of the right combination of natural oils and a carefully selected wetting agent and emulsifier package. When used with the acetic acid and applied correctly, this provides consistent control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds. It is also effective on many perennial species with sequential applications. It has proven to be effective on many glyphosate resistant species, many invasive species and a growing number of woody species.
The University of Missouri conducted an efficacy trial on 20% centric acid sprayed straight and a diluted 20% acetic acid mixture using Contact Organics Boost. This was a very early version on Boost. Our current formulation is MORE effective than the earlier version.
The Mode of Action:
The mode of action is desiccation by dehydration.
The protect waxy layer of the plant is stripped away by the acids and allows all of the nutrients and moisture to escape the plant.
On most annual species it has a 94-98% efficacy rate.
It does not burn the top of the plant off and allows regrowth as may acetic acid based products will do.
On perennial species a sequential applications or applications are required for control.
It has some limitations relative to species control but they are a few.
